Skills Acquisition Month (SAM)

In alignment with SAP, the university Senate has endorsed April as the designated Skills Acquisition Month (SAM). During SAM, students ranging from 100 level to their penultimate year actively engage in learning vocational skills across diverse areas of interest. Additionally, they are required to provide evidence of their progress in these endeavours.

The ultimate objective of the Skills Acquisition Programme is to bridge any existing gaps between the university and the industry, facilitating a stronger connection and ensuring that students are well-prepared to thrive in professional environments.
