The Directorate of Entrepreneurship is pleased to invite all undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the 5th Annual Africa Business Concept Challenge (ABCC).
Hosted by the Global Business School Network (GBSN), this virtual competition is the perfect platform for you to showcase the innovative business solutions you have developed. If you participated in our STEP-S training, you are already one step ahead, the core of this challenge is identifying community problems and building viable business models, which is exactly the expertise you gained during your training!
Why Should You Participate?
- Cash Prizes: Compete for a grand prize of $5,000 USD.
- Global Mentorship: Gain access to “Investor Experts” industry leaders and entrepreneurs who will provide critical feedback to refine your idea.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Team Size: 2 to 5 members (Interdisciplinary teams are highly encouraged!).
- Status: At least two members must be currently enrolled students at an African institution.
- Faculty Mentor: Each team must register with one Faculty Mentor to guide their progress.
- Registration Deadline: March 22, 2026.
